You asked for it and now you've got it! Today Gary tastes and reviews four Chateauneuf De Papes. See how Gary reviews these four. More viewer comments and a new question of the day.
yeah, i am too poor to afford those wines. i always cringe when i see a small bottle of wine selling for over 30.00 per bottle and you dont get much wine for your money. maybe i should stick to more wine from the box.
Could you try some California Rhone style blends? I just moved to San Jose and now I'm really wondering why Californian wine makers aren't growing slow-ripening grapes like grenache. It's sunny out all day everday.
I love this guy's videos. He really knows his wines and his style is really compelling to watch; but I have to agree with you: his French pronounciation is so terrible and so Americanised in this video that it affects my willingness to take him seriously.
He really perpetuates the stereotype that Americans are only willing to interpret other cultures in their own perochial way
I understand that you are American but please practice your pronunciation of the French language. I don't mean to be insulting but if I wasn't aware of where you were talking about I couldn't have been able to understanding.

GV--The French must hate you dude. They hate it when Americans botch their language. You straight murder it! Love it!

I like your videos, very informative.
But "Chate neuf du Pape" means new kitten of the Pope, and that's the nicest interpretation ;-).
