Saffron the Blue and Gold Macaw as a baby

This is our newest family member. SHe is a beautiful Blue and Gold macaw purchased from Bird Paradise in Burlington New Jersey. Listen closely and you can here him talk. (Well not really but his first sounds) SHe is very young and half bald but she wants to grow up so fast. The store owners told me that she shouldn't be perching at this age, but as you can see she doesn't listen. Her little friend is still in the cage below and also begins talking. Thats when you here me tell him "your noisy too"

My Umbrella Cockatoo says Pretty Bird all the time. The don't actually speak as humans so - they mimic.

Dude, he's never going to say pretty bird, at least not that well. Birds can't say anything with a "b" or "p" because they don't have lips.

He is very young. The breeder let you take him home already? I take it you an experienced hand feeder. It is otherwise not a good idea because they are very fragile at this age.
