The Forgiveness Project (www.theforgivenessproject.com), a registered British charity, provides free digital media courses in British prisons. Inmates produce films which focus on restorative justice and forgiveness. Gerald Dill is a charming and thoughtful man. This is extraordinary considering his long prison sentences for violent crime. Much of his criminal behaviour is down to drug addiction which he discusses here without self pity. This interview was a question and answer session between Gerald and prisoners at High Down Prison in Sutton, Surrey. Gerald is still fighting his addiction, and decided to tell his story to help kids at inner city schools better understand and consider another major downside to the use of class A drugs. Directed by Alastair Pirrie.

  • I can hardly believe my eyes, I met Gerald whilst on holiday in Thailand, on Koh San Road, in Gullivers bar. Spent about four days hanging out with him. We had a great time, a really nice bloke. I hope to see him again some day! All the best man. George.
