This isnt a screen of death. It's just what happens when you don't take care of your discs.

we got ours late 2002

my frends did that all i did make it go away guess disc drive freezed i hit reset this was back before we had ours

If there are Red Orbs flying around i the First startup screen, its a sign on Hardware FAilure
