I am Class of 1970 at The Citadel, but I've also visited VMI on several occasions. I served with both Citadel and VMI officers over 26+ years in the Army. Football rivalry aside, they are truly brothers in arms, and far, far more alike than different. You can't go wrong either place, and you will carry the experience forever in your heart and soul.

Well we all have our own opinions, I can imagine that the Citadel campus is very nice, but in my opinion the VMI campus is very beautiful.

I think of VMI kind of at the same spot as the Citadel. I don't know much about it but i like the look of The Citadel better, nicer campus.
