告別(崔苔菁＆李泰祥)現場演唱

1987年12月2日晚上7點，「為老兵而唱」義演晚會於中華體育館舉行，崔苔菁特別延遲赴日發展的時間，與音樂大師李泰祥一同出席，並現場合唱「告別」，崔苔菁還親自演­奏小提琴，是相當珍貴的錄影收藏。

其實這首歌當年受到矚目的一大原因是崔苔菁拼命地幫唐曉詩打歌,­甚至不少人誤以為崔苔菁是原唱者. 這段非常珍貴的影片也證明了當時崔姬確實是非常努力追求突破和轉­型. 有不少人對崔苔菁在滾石唱片所發行的"蝴蝶"專輯未收入這首歌感­到扼腕.

這是我高中畢業那一年所發表的歌曲，女生原唱是唐曉詩。不管歌詞­或曲風都美麗曲折，特別是元氣淋漓、高亢激昂的嗓音，更是入耳動­聽，令人三月不知肉味；二十多年來，始終不忘懷。我私心認為，到­目前為止，這是我曾聽過的最好的男女對唱。

Ms. 崔苔菁 is an excellent star with various talents in Taiwan show business; I understand her family has trained with all kind of music talents including the violin. She should make use of her violin or piano in her career if she does plan to come back again. I look forward to seeing a Taiwanese singer with the violin playing in the song like her.
