i cant get my padkontrol to make any sound......do i need anything else than jus the padkontrol and computer

Do you run the Padkontrol with an application that supports MIDI input, like Ableton Live or FL Studio? You need to link the incoming MIDI notes to a sound or sample or virtual MIDI instrument in these applications. It's not easy to set up the first time, but once you've done it once you'll get the hang of it. Cheers!
