least these protesters are being more peaceful and staying on the side. yeah, we want everyone home too but you just have to wait till it's over.nothing can be done bout it. as for the ones blockading in the streets, that's just a sad disgrace to this nation.think of how it affects the morals of those coming home? support the troops but don't complicate matters for us because we're only doing our job and trying to return to our families.btw i think we're doing a good job so far overseas.

lol, these are strykers, [apc variant] 8-wheeled medium armor combat vehicles, not tanks =] main reason the .50 cal and mortar systems are taken down are simply cuz there's no need having them mounted unless in a training exercise or combat environment. having them stowed away simply keeps them tidy (try cleaning one of these bitches! takes forever) and prone to any damage on the outside.

as for the terror thing.. they actually had to deal with much worse staring down the barrels of saddams T-55's. not terrorizing them, more policing and many iraqi's appreciate us. best advice to anybody is to stop watching the rigged/biased news and try going there yourself sometime.great vacation =]

amen. these ppl are the terrorists. not the police or military who are just doing their jobs . (btw i saw no brutality whatsoever/ ppl should look at other countries) Terrorism - "a terroristic method of governing or 'of resisting a government.'"

So I guess your point was that our troops shouldn't have the equipment to protect themselves from the terrorist shit bags that are trying to kill them! Lets talk about what a great job your doing for the moral of the solders. You know the people that volunteer to protect this country. They don't get to pick the battles. All the while your spoon fed Ass sits back living off mommy and daddy under the very blanket of security these men and women volunteered to provide.Someday you'll grow up!

Actually those shipments were going to be refitted and sent back to Iraq. Maybe you should have done some research before you blurt out things that nobody is going to be convinced by. So the only hypocrisy I see is from you, who failed to get a grip on what our point was.

Exactly acumensch, it's bushes fault the soldiers in iraq have so little equipment. Let's get back out there and block military equipment that needs repaired to go back to Iraq. Our soldiers don't need it, right?

= hypocrite.
