I love the beginning of the love story between Steve and Kayla as well. It was a wonderful adventure that I truly miss with all my heart.

@kimber1572 I agree with you too, about the way that Hope, Kimberly and even Victor would call him by his real name. I think Kimberly called him Patch once. He does play the harmonica very well. You have to have a good set of pipes to play that instrument.

Did anyone know that the Steve "Patch" character was originally supposed to try to come between Bo and Hope? I know that the character wasn't supposed to be a long term character but he was so popular that Peter Reckell lobbied for Stephen to get a contract.

Steve and Hope's friendship was wonderful. I think she's the very first person in Salem to see through that tough guy act of his and see that there was man underneath who was in a lot of pain. Then of course Kayla saw it too.

@DawnYzag Steve is a tough guy on the outside, to strangers. To those who know him, he is one big teddy bear. Hope and Kayla got to see that tender side, Hope saw it through Treason/Britta and Kayla saw it through Frankie/Max. Thanks for watching :D

Oh Kayla, you like the bad boy, don't you! I love watching the beginnings of Steve and Kayla! And my all-time favorite clip of them is the "Drunk Kayla" ~ too funny!
