After having mixed results with the Walther PPK/S I had for years, I had mostly decided against buying any other light-caliber blow-back operated pistols. But, I ran across the CZ-82 while poking around online and was surprised at the magazine capacity and features it had considering it's age. I really wanted to give the CZ-82 a try and my last visit to the gun show ended with me taking this one home.
So far, despite having some pretty snappy recoil, it shoots really well and seems to be more accurate than I can shoot it. Well, that goes without saying, right? Flawless cycling and ejection and it seemed like I tended to hit what I was aiming at most of the time even considering how rusty I am. My only nitpicks are that I need to work on my wood grips ( which show a lot of wear anyway ) to round off some edges to make it more comfortable and possibly a new magazine release as the one in my gun seems to stick when being operated from the left side. For a measly $200, you absolutely cannot beat this handgun!
