@metoones It feels like going over a long speed bump. If you do all your hard braking before and through 7 (the right hander) you just need to drop one gear before going over the curb, feather the brakes and will go over it no problem. What I find difficult is keep a tight line around 8. Gotta push that right bar harder!

I was at the museum when Indy lites were practicing one day. At 1:11 on this video is the stripped curb on the corner before the museum. What is the tactic of hitting that ramp? The Indy guys looked like they were bouncing off of it.

I was there also, and was with TheLoonyTunes. Glad you are alright from the Down. Haven't seen anyone comment / acknowledge what was the cause. From what I observed, it looked like you touched your right foot, and had a panic moment, and took your right hand off the bars. Let us know if we can help you out with any track tips. Good luck on your next outing!

Well guys, yeah, i'm fine. My pride was hurt more than anything. The fall sucked but i'm pretty resilient and got two small bruises and one scrape on my elbow. My pride was crused but it was my best motorcycle riding exp ever. I know what I need to work on. This crash won't stop me, not even close. suit is getting sent off to be restitched and the tear down of the rc51 has already. thank you for letting us use your 40ft couch as shade the one day. thanks for the advice guys.

I was there that day too. I was looking for a buddy pitted down on the first row in the paddocks and saw the RC51. Get him to a California Superbike School fast. He can get a lot better, really fast. No counterleaning, easy and relaxed on the bars, improved visual skills in no time. Check out my Road Atlanta video. Buddy with green ZX10r: only his 2nd track day and smooth! First track day was CSS.

Nooooo!
I was the guy pitted right next to yall with the blue 40ft coach. When I saw the RC getting brought back in it brought a tear to my eye.
Hope James is Ok, that looked like a hard fall. He needs to work on being a little smoother and less twitchy. I hope to see you guys out at another track day soon!
Hahaha.
Hey hey pal. James came out okay. It was his first track day but despite the little get-off, he's hooked. We followed him enough and got enough video that he can see what he has to work on for the next track day. All came out very well.
Thanks for the shade by the way too. Hope to see you again as well.
