i don't drink sodas that look like diarrhea.

@kaitlindesign pepsi had bottles, too. and so did oh idk every other soda out there.

This commercial is quite ironic considering Pepsi has changed it's logo more than a few times, while Coke is one of the most easily recognizable brands. Think: we know what it is just based on the shape of the bottle, while the Pepsi the kids are drinking are in cans that are the same for every soda brand out there.

lol "...i have no idea" lol

I only ever saw this on Tarrant on TV (a British advert clip show) and remembered it, particularly the shuttlecraft with the Pepsi logo flying over head as the Prof holds up the coke bottle at the end. Giant bitch-slap to Coke. Yes Pepsi fan here. I was so glad when I found it on Youtube.

This ad is one of the best ever made. It is witty, interesting and memorable. It annoys me that it never appears in those "best 100 commercials" programmes made for TV. I would put it as number 1. I only saw it a couple of times over 2 decades ago but still quote it.

Coke is old fashioned, Pepsi is modern. Depending on what you want, stay in the old or stay in the new. That's why I love Pepsi, because it always seemed futuristic to me, while coke was bleh.

How is this pro-coke? Whether or not coke or pepsi is better is irrelevant. This ad is not pro-coke.

How sly. ;p
Agreed - this one was brilliant. I saw it when I was still in high school when it showed as a 'Best of Cannes winners' back in the mid-1980s. And I still remembered it so well after all those years - that's great advertising!
