yes, babewfbrain is correct. it is not a dance. this section of the competition in china is only for technique. in china most competitions have requirements in what dancers have to do, and technique is one of those categories.

her technique is.. undescribable with words!!! but it really makes me wonder does that consider as dance?
it seems more like a gymnastic routine performance showing off all the skill she has, but the main difference between dance and other sports is that dance is meant to have some sort of artistic quality in it, and i dnt quite see that in here..
but still wow, how long n how much effort did she spend to do all that?

"Techniques" is a required portion of the dance competition designed to gauge a dancer's fundamentals, as well as the advanced applications of those fundamentals, as are seen here.
