A-ha in Hamburg_RIAS-tv_che2.3.1991

This is a piece I did for RIAS TV/Berlin in March of 1991 from Hamburg, where A-ha stationed on their current tour. A lot of fuzz and exitement then - and today. They split, they came back and they will split again the year, leaving some great work. In my humble opinion: A-ha is one of the greatest Pop bands ever. Seriously.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of A-HA history! For sure, for me & many, many others... they will indeed go down as one of the greatest pop/rock bands ever. One can only hope that maybe in a few years they will make another comeback! But, speaking of A-HA making history... for all of us here in the USA, it has been 20+ years (not counting the NYC 2005 club date) since an A-HA concert. Pre-sale tickets sold out in less than 8 minutes for 3 concerts in May. I am a lucky ticket holder!!!!

Thanks for share Kabanneabois. I don't understand the masks, but the 90s is when i lost touch with A-ha. Their music wasn't being played in the U.S.A. Also, they stopped touring the U.S. which is why some just know Take on me. Thanks to the internet i found out what A-ha had done all these years. Thanks for video. ;)

General admission tickets for these 3 concerts (2 in NYC and 1 in Los Angeles) will go on sale on Friday 2/5/2010. I would expect that they will sell out as fast as the pre-sale tickets did. I hope they will schedule more dates & venues in the USA.. I am sure they will all sell out. USA fans have been pleading for years for them to come back to the USA... we will not disappoint them.. we are ready to show them our respect, admiration and love for this greatest of band!
