I gotta say... given this, I think the thing he did on American Idol was top class. He's too good to have gotten up there and crooned some schmaltzy cover kind of thing. And too cool to be some American Idol grad a year from now, money and fame or not.

Wild guess... so we'd all be on here watching this video today? It's not enough to be a talented artist; you've got to do something else to get noticed these days. I dare say he did that.
Anyway, I worship Billy Joel, and I loved this band's version of the song. Best of luck to these guys. I'd buy their CD.
