  • Dark Reign is probably one of the best events marvels done since House of M. even though SI was awsome as well.

I can't wait till cap comes back though & kicks Normans butt!

  • Truly amazing. :D

  • Dr.Doom & Loki in a pack,, kinda reminds me of the 90's "Acts of Vengeanve" with the Hood replacing Kingpin. No wizard & Mandarin, instead Emma & Namor, whoa!

End up, goin through my collection redin those classic random villain attacks tho :p

Im really excited, how Dark reign gonna go...

Hoping it'll be great & not quiet connected directly from Secret Invasion

  • Ha! Nobody explained Final Crisis!

    Case rested.

  • lol, I was freaked out when I saw namor, I was like whoa. Namor looks like he should be out trying to kidnpping childern.

  • Final Crisis should be a hard cover. Grant Morrison is a great story teller only when he wants to be. But reading FC, the story is sooo conflicting and confusing yet so interesting and amazing. I hope in the last few issues will be the greatness ending of all time.

  • Alex, I was in the same boat with you on FC. I had to abandon ship though. Your thing about reading it in the trade applies here. I actually think Morrison writes for the trade. The other night I read all the issues that are out straight through, and I gotta tell you, this story is great. I don't think the overall plot has been revealed yet, but I do know that when Darkseid fell he ended up damaging the multiverse.

  • awesome show guys. you are totally right about final crisis, it is completely F'd in the A but with some nice moments that hardly make it worth reading, rubix cube my ass, more like an acid induced hallucinogenic, introspective nightmare! which ties in nicely with the dark side of oz reference... maybe i should get high and then read final crisis?? while listening to pink floyd and watching wizard of oz... then it might make some sense!

  • I am a diehard DC blinded fan just as PETE is a blinded Punisher fanatic....... I want to love FINAL CRISIS but it makes no sense at all. Its too smart for its own good.

Remember how smart THE HULK (2003 movie) was? It was equally too long and BORING. Thats FINAL CRISIS.

A great blockbuster cross over needs to have a balance of everything- story, action, character moments - and a sense of purpose. FINAL CRISIS has none of this.... an incoherent mess.

  • Morrison has said in interviews that because of new media, people's attention spans are shorter, so he's just flipping to the good stuff and leaving out all the filler. If you really want to read a big crossover that does everything off screen, read Our Worlds at War. For, FC, I can't think of really anything that happened off screen. I wish you'd elaborate. What happened off screen?
