From the disasterous "Rock & Roll's Main Event" this was some footage I got that was supposed to be "B" roll for my local program in Fontana, CA called "Southland Scene. The whole concert was a promoters nightmare, and what was to be a three-day event was cancelled after the first day.

  • Saw them open for Alice Cooper in New Orleans (1973). They called themselves Flourescent Leach and Eddie.

  • Flo and Eddie are so seriously unknown it is shocking. Recently I discovered they lent their falsetto vibrato to no less than T Rex. I reckon their voices were the "secret" to T Rex's success!

  • @joemgeek Where are you from, asshole? England? You obviously don't understand "music" if you have such thoughts. You see, Zappa is not the kind of artist ANYBODY attacks like you have. He had too much "substance", a bona-fide "musician's musician". Arrogant and self-important, maybe, but you are here attacking probably one of possibly three (3) musical geniuses of the 20th Century, hence you are a fool and a genuine musical idiot. Leave comments like these about the artists worth attacking.

  • they're older than a lot of us.

  • Flo and Eddie are older than me.

  • Used To Listen To Flo & Eddie Back In The 70's, Damn, They Were f-ing Great!

  • Flo & Eddie appear to have more fun in their chosen occupation then most if not any other r&rollers. Love their lampoons too like Bruce and Doors. What are you into renlib? - Debby Boone and Barry Manilow?

  • Flo & Eddie are known to lampoon current music during their shows. I actually went to this event, but I could swear it was 1990 because of the girl I went with. We were together throughout 1990! The event was indeed a disaster. I'd say maybe 200 people showed up to a HUGE amphitheater. Gary Lewis, Strawberry Alarm Clock (who didn't play any of their hits), Gary Puckett and others were there too.

    PS Zappa was a god!

  • LMFAO!!!!!!

  • Yeah, but I wouldn't compose those songs, because they are horseshit. I write great songs, and have a decent amount of self doubt- unlike Zappa, who was immensely satisfied with the sound of himself embracing the fucking shitter every morning.

    Self satisfied shit.
