Among the many Turkish songs that the Istanbul born Roza Eskenazi recorded in Greek in the 1930s were these two beautiful zeybekikos. The second song, Bu Gece Camlarda (Ne Olur), was a very well known composition by the Armenian Artaki Candan, here sung by the famous singer Safiye Ayla

  • Very nice and lovely music... Cheers from Mexico

  • "you - we"

I fuck every racist person on youtube tubes!

  • @colexiou idiot, you clearly fail to understand the tone of my comment. My point is you greeks claim Turkish food and music as your own. You play the violin in the style of the Turks. You also play clarinet like us Turks. You sing like us Turks. Then you shamelessly claim it as greek or Byzantine or from the time of ancient greece!

  • @Barbossapasa Did I say so?No,I was very specific!

The 1st recorded use of "Turk" as a political name is a 6century reference to the word pronounced in Modern Chinese as 'Tujue'.This happened as your ancestors came from Mongolia where they were speaking Chinese.

As for Madusa, she was living in LA &was fucking a blonde.I can't see why you thought she was talking about dark dirty low-life Mongols (Turks).Unless you thought she was addressing to you when she mentioned that the guy was empty-skull

  • @aybertum we are not....we are related with the ancient greeks and turks are related to moggols...never forget....

  • @colexiou everything turkish comes from greek right? What next? Was "Turk" also a greek work that came from what Madussa named her favourite cock?

  • @Anatolian1907 Zeybek is a Greek word and comes from the words 'Zeus' (=Dias) + 'bekos' (=bread). It was a tribute of greek warriors in Anatolia who offered the Greek god Zeus bread before fighting for good luck. This word was adopted by Turks later, that's why there are 2 versions of zeybekiko dance, the Greek which is faster and the Turkish which is much slower. Similarly this music was originally sung by Greeks of Anatolia and adapted by Turks who came in the area in 11th AD.

  • @ ondaleo Nunca me imagine que mis quieridos Chilenos escuchaban musica de nuestro parte de mundo gracias!!!!!
