I have an 05 e55 & i want to make some cheap changes to the exhaust. What sort of sound would I get from removing the secondary cats? Would I see power gains from doing that? I just dont want it to be too loud in the cabin. Any suggestions? Could a muffler shop replace the cats with just straight pipe?
