Benedict XVI: Helping the suffering makes man more human

Two impressions have especially remained on my mind; on one hand, the impression of this almost exuberant cordiality, this delight of a rejoicing Africa. I felt they saw in the Pope, let us say, the personification of the fact that we are the children and the family of God.
