Wing Commander was the greatest american saddlebred in the history of Saddlebreds foaled on April 23, 1943 he is sired by Anacacho Shamrock and out of Flirtation Walk he has around five five gaited saddlebred world championships he died in January 1969 from colic complications please research him to find out more about him I've got a great-granddaughter of his she is a Ntional Show Horse she is also a grandaughter of *Bask++(the worlds greatst Arabian stallion) she is a grandaughter of *Sabellina(she nearly won the polish triple crown she lost by a nose her and *Bask++ were mated and produced EW Sabask Sky's sire)

They are greta movers and thinkers. I have a stud out of Sky Millenium (my dad's stud) down from Sky Hawk, from Sky Watch. If you know the bloodline you know what I mean. My fella Southern Sky, AKA LiL MAN, is a laid back stud. He's a lover not a fighter. He has some great foals to hit the ground. Alot of ACtion.

He was an amazing horse! my grandmother actully got to ride him cause she was great friends with his owner and my mom said she went out with him, haha! it's cool she actully got to ride him though and i think my horse charlie is related to him a little cause you can see it in his face al little and his body!

wonderful to see this footage. my 22 year old is his great great grandaughter. she passed away last month we owned her all of her life and my 2 year old filly is his great great great grandaughter both are national show horses 22 yr old has bask breeding and 2 year old is double padron bred

my filly is kin also she is a great great great grandaughter of him on her mom's side and padron double bred on her sire's side accent on magnum x magnum psyche x padron. she is magnificent and can she park trot naturally at age 2. Our other mare was 22 and died last month she was a great great grandaughter of wing commander and the other part arabian. we owned her 21 and a half years. We loved her dearly as well.
