A discussion about where we get our airsoft guns and where you might find such prop weapons.
As a summary:
Spring guns - Cheap, no blowback, plastic.
Gas blowback - More expensive, requires 'green gas' or 'propane,' metal
AEGs - Most expensive, heavy, looks great.
Check online for airsoft websites or local airsoft retailers. Hit up your local sporting goods stores for potential props. And ALWAYS INFORM AUTHORITIES when you're filming with these things!

@ODC1422 i really want the 9inch revolver/magnum, it would look incredible on camera, I gotta say though there's some storys about fake guns i know, a student group didn't notify police during filming an action seen, hour later they were surrounded by armed police lmfao!

Plus despite everything Freddie was expecting it. He may not know exactly when but he was expecting it. Have him walk around all day with an airsoft and just charge him outa nowhere. Maybe right as he leaves the restroom. Let's seem him get him there!

@SharnOfTheDEAD i have EXACTLY the same problem!!!!!! but if u look around i recently bought a .22 revolver exact replica BLANK gun, which is awesome and i bought it black and so can you if u say its for theatre and film uses!!

Using these in here UK is a living nightmare, the laws here are strict, you need to be a member in order to buy, and you can only get 2 toned guns, i have had to spray many of mine black and custom paint them which i believe is also frowned upon here, it isn't easy making action films on a low budget. :/

Actually the 21 foot rule holds true.
If you put two shots directly into the bad guy's heart and completely destroy the organ (ie nothing left but jello), his body still has enough blood and oxygen in it to fight as if he weren't shot at all for a good 11 seconds.
Axe boy was already on top of freedie after being shot. That's about 10 second left to axe the Asian as much damage as he can before vital organs and muscle start shutting down due to blood volume loss.
