Maharishi Mahesh Yogi the founder of the Transcendental Meditation technique introduced Yogic Flying to the world in the late 1970's. Now, over 100,000 people have learnt the technique and are enjoying the benefits everyday. Yogic Levitation has been a sign of high spiritual evolution throughout the ages and has been recorded and demonstrated by saints of all religions and cultures.
In this video is Martin Davy and James Hodgson (from New Zealand) demonstrating yogic flying for a TV show.
Yogic Levitation, Yogic Flyer, Yogic Flight and Yogic Flying are all terms used to describe this practice.
Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying is practiced at Maharishi University of Management in the USA. http://www.mum.edu

The commentary is total bullshit - they're NOT using their arms and legs...?? er... yes they ARE: bouncing with their legs and swinging their arms to help them bounce! Not levitation at all.
As I understand it Yogic Flying is simply the name of the technique...These guys are not suggesting they have mastered the technique or anything, simply they are students attempting to master it.
As some of the other videos on Youtube show about Yogic Flying it seems that the inner experience is what is important and why they are studying it... as opposed to the external phenomena of hopping as expressed in the first stage or "hopping" or stage of it.
