@joeleboel No. Hapkido and Aikido are completely separate arts. Different countries of origin, different philosophies, different techniques. Hapkido is a sort of mixed martial art in that (in a good school) you will learn punching, kicking, throws, joint locks, chokes, submissions, etc (and defense for everything you learn), but it is not a mix of martial arts. If you take Aikido and Karate you still won't know Hapkido.
