This Week in Louisiana Agriculture's Bill Sherman shows us how the Asian Citrus Psyllid has spread to another parish. That could threaten the LA citrus industry with the spread of citrus greening.
From experience, psyllids infest a area, not just trees, they find plants to feed on. You can't say you're ok, because it only takes one psyllid to land on your tree, & lay eggs. Psyllids have been found on orchid trees & milk thistle weeds in Florida. Baby tender shoots are what they feed on, they will feed on anything with new shoots that appeals to them.
I propose this as a possible cure for citrus greening 500 ppm coloidal silver foliar spray mixed with 10% dmso.
