Theres also a lot of "fake" materials inside. I dont know about SRX, but i presume its not better than in CTS. Most of the stuff that looks like wood, is plastic. Most of the stuff that looks like metal is plastic. Most of the stuff on central console that looks like stitched leather is not actually leather, but some kinds of plastic / rubber material that doesnt look that expensive. The design is very nice though.

@derbigpr500 not that i disagree, but even this "average" japanese auto maker that we call Infiniti, has much better and higher quality materials in its vehicles than most american auto makers. im not comparing it to german cars, this is why in my comment i SPECIFICALLY compared my M45 to the caddy.

@jesustorres85 No offense, but infinity isnt really a premium vehicle. Maybe its considered premium and high quality in US, but in comparison with european cars its just average. Manufacturers like VW, Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel have better interiors. Not to mention BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo etc.

i wouldnt bash on american cars these days. i own an infiniti m45 and caddy has just as much a quality feel as my infiniti does.

This is an impressive jump in quality and craftsmanship, but it's not quite the level of fit and finish that comes in a Mercedes or BMW of same price range.
