*I think I'm supposed to mention that I do not own the rights to any of the music that is in this video*
-Just found out the audio is a little messed up, and not inline at some points - will try to get this fixed...
-On June 21st, I boarded a 60' "Mini-Maxi" French Racing Sailboat to head across the Atlantic Ocean, destination Europe. I had never sailed before, but thought crossing the Atlantic would be a cool experience, and it definitely was. Prior to this I had never even stepped foot on a sailboat, and have only been at Sea for about a day..fishing.

On July 10th we arrived in The Azores - what a beautiful place. Portuguese islands in The Atlantic.

On July 16th we departed for Europe. We prayed for wind, so we didn't have to motor slowly the whole way, like the first part of our trip which took 21 days.
We got wind. For 4 days it was non-stop up to 50 knots of wind, Seas up to 15 foot. It was non-stop work, and craziness. The boat handled it very well, but still it was crazy, not much sleep to be had.

On July 20th, we saw land - Cape Sao Vicente, Portugal. At this point, we lost wind, and rough seas, and had to motor just about the rest of the way.

On July 22nd, 8pm, we reached Malaga, Spain.

It was a great trip!
