So after digesting more than 100 round of CCI Mini Mags My ISSC MK22 Decided it was not going to work 100% anymore. I started to get random Light Primer Strikes with the strikes on the spent shells not being much heavier than the ones on the round that fail to fire.
I did some research and came to the conclusion that the problem is the bolt that puts forward pressure on the carrier and somehow that lack of pressure was causing the bolt to breech tolerances to increase thus giving me the light primer strikes.
Now I'm have no problem with the gun having some failures here and there cause after all this is a training tool and failures are part of the operation of any rifles but when they are so frequent that they distract from the fun something has to be done. Hope the video helps those out there with this kind of problems. It seems to have help my particular rifle.
just got my MK22 on the 23rd Aug. and I'm going to locktite the primer bolt as well as the picatinny small bolts as I'm hearing some weapons loosen at the rails as well! Thanks for the how to on fixing this defect. I'm seeing several reviews at gun forums on the internet where some guys are having this problem. I wonder if they know a $7.00 tube of locktite could have prevented all their woes!
