I don't think it matters whether ABBA was or is gay, who cares, it is that the gay community has accepted the ABBA songs as a part of their own "culture" (for the lack of a better word). Kind of like Cher, Liza Minnelli etc.

Either way I could care less, I love ABBA songs. I used to wake up to them every morning before kindergarden because my parents would play then right after they would wake up. Ahhhh, nostalgia....
