It's an example of what you can make using a combination of J2ME, VXML, CCXML, and standard servlet programming.
It is highly recommended that you switch to full-screen mode, in order to get a better view of this demo.
The basic idea of this application: subscribers to MoPod service can listen to songs over regular telephone; no MP3 files stored in their cellphone.
The user can interact with the service using two modes: visual (the mobile app) or voice (by saying commands). They are synchronized. So, for example, if the user says "fave songs", the mobile app will switch the screen to the "fave songs screen". However, only interaction in the visual mode is shown in this demo.
It was developed completely using NetBeans 6.1 (netbeans mobility r@wkz!).
I'm sorry the quality of the sound is rather poor; I recorded the sound directly from my laptop speaker.
I will spend sometime next weekend to update this video (with a proper one), and hopefully with some explanation / brief tutorial.
Higher quality version of this video is available upon request.
We also would like to get in touch with those who are interested in outsourcing / building partnership for developments of this type of applications. Please feel free to mail us at: cokorda.raka@simitel.com .
Apparently youtube just did an additional post-processing, in order to reduce the size of the file of this video in their server.
The resolution used to be fine (much better) one hour ago.
