Yes, A two page synopsis is very hard to write. I just experienced it with my novel, it's a little over 380 pgs. in manuscript form. It's actually 180 pgs. without manuscript form. Is it 448 pgs. without manuscript form? All I can say to that is damn. Just damn.

I just finished my novel too!
I've already sent out about six query letters. Gotta love copy and paste.
^.^

Good luck!

dont stop, and if you do get bored or come up with another idea, if needed, keep the other one your previously writing on hold or try and write it into the story, but think about it, very carefully first

When you figure out the name, could you tell us, so we can buy it? I know it'll be awesome.
Think! You'll have your own fanfic category if it gets popular enough!

I started a novel (I'm 14), but I'm beginning to think I won't finish it. It's roughly 45,000 words and no where near the plot. If what you said about top number of words is 120,000 for the first time author, I don't think I'll make it. Either I give up on it (Easiest choice) or I finish and cut and rewrite a LOT! Oh well, good luck finding an agent. I really like what I've read/heard of your writing!

Cool I am looking forward to that I am sure your going to post a video when you do get accepted.. I will be ... whats that word... something lol sorry I am just here for encouragement I really really hope you get it published it will be one less junk book out there to read.

I can't wait to read it.
Also, I love your cat's frequent cameos in your videos.
I sent a letter out to an agency about 3 months ago and still haven't heard back. Do you know if this is bad or good? And I'm 14 do you think that this means a better shot or is it unrealistic?

It varies from agent to agent, but generally if you haven't heard from them by now you'll likely not hear from them at all. "Rejection by silence" is just a part of the business, unfortunately. Did you send them a SASE? Usually they say on their websites when you should expect a reply.
And if your writing is good, it shouldn't matter how old you are. They'll recognize talent when they see it.

That's cool. I've written a YA novel too and have sent some sample chapters to an agent. I'm a bit pessimistic about it's chances, I've never been a firm believer in my own writing talents despite what friends and family assure me. There's some romance, but my forte is action-comedy, so I lean towards that, and depict strong women who don't need men (unlike Bella Sue). Did you include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your query? They will reply if you include one, even a rejection.

The only agent I've queried so far wanted submissions by email only. So no, I haven't (yet).
