First, Tobey Maguire's Spiderman was one of the worst portrayals of the character to date, he just played a whiny kid without any wit or remarks abouts his enemies, which is what makes Spiderman, Spiderman.

Second, this version of Spidey isn't going to be part of the Avengers simply because it's a different studio working on it.

And finally, The Green Goblin doesn't come into play in the comics as early as in the movies, so stop getting worked up because of crap like that.

I hate movies without the original storyline. This movie does have it. The other movies don't. I love the other movies but this actually looks better.

I love how the story is being re-told again; but with greater detail and will continue on in future films of spiderman. I still love Tobey Maguire's spidey films, but I'll give this one a chance first :)

What I thought Tobey was great as Spiderman just not good as peter parker. I do prefer Maguire's spiderman but prefer Garfields Peter Parker. Im sorry but I'm not that into the fake Spiderman brooklyn accent, it's like Batmans gargly voice.

I loved the movie, I just wish that spiderman was more famous like in the originals and they wasted too much time as him not being spiderman...
