RC Warbird modelplane. Os 120 SurpassIII whit pump and MA 15x8 propp. Today the wind was realy gutsy and make landings realy hard. 10 minutes after finished flying, the sky turns grey and you could here the thunder start roling.
The tailwheel is modified on this model. It should be attached to the side rudder, but i decided to place it on the proper scale location. It's not retractable, but have full staring.
It's also a bit heavier than Top Flite's 1/8 scale P47, but now days the engine runs a lot better. On this vid is it the second and third flight so the engine still runs a bit rich. And the onbord glowsystem is here male function.
Today i fly around 1/2 - 1.3/4 throttle for proper scale preformans
Is this a fixed tailwheel model? Also, is this a heavier model than the Top Flight equivalent? I'm asking because it seems like you're flying mostly full throttle.
