I have a transcript of all four parts available to anyone who subscribes to www.youtube.com/yvettegr and PM's me for it.

Parts 2, 3, and 4 are in my list of videos. They were uploaded at a different date.

This Q&A took place after a screening of Angel-A (Rie Rasmussen played Angel-A) at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in
New York, May 7, 2007.

For some reason I was contacted via email by Sony (the event sponsors) about attending this event and met at the cinema by representatives of Sony. I didn't have to wait in the blocks long line of people wanting to get in (Miraculously, I also got a parking place as close to the front of the theater as you can get (a car pulled out as I pulled up). I was introduced to both of them and then given a reserved seat in the center front row, which is why this video is so close. Don't ask, to this day I don't know why.

About: Some of the other films written and directed by Luc Besson are The Fifth Element (he sketched out the plot when he was a teen-ager), La Femme Nikita, Point of No Return, The Professional.

About: Rie Rasmussen is a talented director/writer in her on right, and is also a supermodel and the current face of Gucci.

About: Jamel Debbouze, who plays the person Angel-A is to save, conceals his hand in his coat throughout. He was hit by a train as a child and his hand was injured, so he conceals it.

  • Where is Jamel? Racists!

  • @him3zz Why would this be a racist event? Just because Jamel didn't show up. He was invited but his schedule wouldn't permit him to fly to New York.

  • @yvettegr yeah, you are totally right. WTF was I thinking?? I was watching all kinds of racist videos so.... I apologize.

  • @him3zz That's okay. I thought Jamel was terrific in this movie. I couldn't imagine anyone else doing the part. Or anyone other than Rie Rasmussen as Angel-A, also. Terrific movie.

  • i'm referring, of course, to their new movie, angel-a...

  • This was taken right after they had a screening of the movie. It is a wonderful, beautiful film. And both Luc and Rie were fantastic. I know the audio is awful (blame youtube's compression). I hope to transcribe it all in the next couple of weeks and have it available for download.

  • @yvettegr Yeah the whole movie in general was outstanding. This is definitely one of the best movies I've seen.

  • The audio is terrible on this video, so I won't view the others as well. But, I don't think you can make it any better because the Q & A doesn't use a very good audio anyway. Thanks for at least trying.

  • has anybody posted the movie on here?? if so can you please message me and tell meh thanks!!

  • I loooved the movie, it was gorgeous!!!
