This experiment developed by Masaru Emoto tests the power of our thoughts, words, and intentions on water through the rice. Positively enforced rice rots slower than negatively enforced rice. My experiment ran from May 13 to June 4th of 2008.

  • Awesome video. Very good experiment! This is also the reason why I sing happy songs to my plants. They grow beautiful and healthy.

  • You need a control group.

  • @MegaLaurenConrad I believe in God but not in this. The prob is that water is not life and he did not use his tongue in this experiment, he just put paper taped to the container. As well as the fact that he had no control group for this experiment so this is not valid.

  • In Proverbs 18:21 in the Bible it clearly states "Death and life are in the power of the tongue..." :)

  • @namaste15 You're gonna make me envy them.

  • Purely amazing.

  • @webfredster Really interesting point, I think the intention of the words were directed towards the water within the rice though, not the rice itself...

  • Pretty cool:)

  • @voitkuns I think scary, because you automatically think of how often we insult the people in our environment... I am sure, this even works without words, just thoughts. And that´s what was called "Witchcraft"....

  • @guitpla304 sure does ;)

  • people are like 95% water....wonder if it works the same way?

  • This looks pretty good! Honey can you hand me the bowl of curry? *nom nom nom*
