  • I was the security stage supervisor for the us festival

There were no cameras or people on stage except Bett midler and Jim Callaghan his tour security manager

As far as the filming of it I think Wozniak had all of it

This looks like it but hard to tell , it was part of the serious moonlight tour.

  • @andyboblomas Correct - the video I used here was either from the 'Modern Love' music video or another video from the 'Serious Moonlight' tour (can't quite remember which source I used LOL).

  • Anyway, if this was the US Festival, you would be wrong, cause i was there on Day 3, and I heard that David Bowie was not shot on video of the US Festival! He refused to be on video, and the only thing of the US Festival is the MTV Interview Backstage...But i Have the Audio of the US Festival that he PLAYED FOR!!!! THIS IS ORIGINAL!!!!

  • @ChazYocom You are correct. I was there at the US Festival and still have my ticket stubs for all 3 days. Bowie did not want to even be interviewed for this event and was not. As far is this video is it's nothing but spam and a cheap rendition of it. Not to mention an insult to David. Kudos to you for calling BS where BS lays.

  • @mchllemay No the video is not 'spam/cheap rendition'. I put these videos together to go along w/the radio program because I felt some people may find the radio program interesting. I chose to use various video clips rather than a boring still photo. As far as the BS remark: nowhere in the description did I ever imply the video clips themselves were from Bowie's US Festival performance. In fact I clearly stated in other comments where audio/video came from. Go troll elsewhere and stay out!

  • @ChazYocom Video clips used: A rehearsal from the 70's and either the 'Modern Love' video or maybe something else filmed from the 'Serious Moonlight' tour. The audio that Rolling Stone used is from the 1974 album 'David Live at the Tower Philadelphia'. No US Festival audio was used for the radio program heard here.
