@smautomat B B king is the master of the pentatonic ! He isnt a great lead guitarist but used them perfectly ! It's the same way for keith !
-
@fondofrory : No problem. I completely understand where you're coming from. However, many people (not you, necessarily), are under the misguided notion that, just because a guitarist doesn't shred like Steve Vai and the like, he must be somehow inferior. In my opinion, B.B. King, using the basic pentatonic scale, communicates much more through his playing than does, say, Yngwie Malmsteen. To me, Malmsteen is like an auctioneer: sure, he can "talk" fast, but how much is he really saying?

@smautomat I just said it because when i see " wonderfull intro / Keith lead guitarist " .. It sound like a joke for me :) He is an amazing musician , creative etc , great rythmic player but he havnt the feeling like Mick Taylor or Clapton to play lead . Btw love you Keith !
-
@fondofrory: Yes, and Beethoven created all his compositions using only 12 different notes. Charles Dickens only used 26 different letters to write his novels. It's not what you use, it's how you use it!
