i live in germantown wisconsin, and they have the old firetruck just for show but they use it sometimes during actual fires but not always.

I always hate to see this sort of thing. There are so few of the old style barns left. There is very little respect for their architecture and history that people tend not to keep them up very well. I've seen enough considering the fact that I grew up in rural Wisconsin.

Fires in rual WI, well in my area, are not rare at all. My Dad is a firefighter and he has to got to a house or barn fire like 2 times a week.

In rural wisconsin fires are rare.That trucks proly been used like 30 times in its life. Firemen don't get paid most of the time. If a fire is too huge. We call in neighboring departments to help out. The equipment works well and its given fire department the chance to buy needed things like hotspot finder and stuff.
