Hey Allison, great stuff!! I found your page on accident but I'm lucky I did. Your video breakdowns are the sh*t. Plus I get the added bonus of reading what Coach B has to say!! Keep up the great work!

Love It! Amazing form! I'm in school to become a trainer and love seeing how others train. I would love to see this in person and your routines.

your form is among the best i've seen anywhere, good stuff! i just got into the olympic lifts a year ago and i'm still working on form a lot, but i'm still having trouble w/ the overhead squat phase of the snatch. i can't use a challenging amount of weight because once the bar reaches that point where its slightly behind my head and i'm in the bottom position my shoulders feel terrible. i feel like my shoulders just wont bend that way, are there any exercises i could be doing to remedy this?

@thizzzman Flexibility issues can make lifting so much harder! But there are tons of things you can do to improve your shoulder mobility. Once that happens your lifts will go through the roof. The thing is without seeing you squat I can't say for sure that it's your shoulders - it could be an issue with your squat or mobility in your thoracic spine. Check out Kelly Starettes MobilityWOD

I love the Nikes, Straightdamageman. They're perfect for me because they fit my narrow feet better than the Pendelays and Dowins. I think they just came out with a new round of them in a different color. Which ones do you use?
Activsoul, take it slow. Squat properly as deep as you can but not deeper. You'll be able to get lower over time if you're careful and consistent. Check out Kelly Staretts Mobility WOD blog. He had a lot of great information about injury and ROM. Good luck!

Hi Coach B! Thanks for your help! I have a lot to work to do on my technique and I have to get my strength back up.. but I'm looking forward to all the work it's going to take. I love lifting so much. It's is BY FAR my favorite thing to do. I'm trying to lose weight just so my lifts will look bigger!. ;) Just Kidding.. Hugs back! B says HI
