captain morgan did her patented flying blocks (both skates leaving the ground) as this was WFTDA 1.0 rules and that was banned explicitly by both teams it was illegal. I was a ref in training for PJRD at the time and was watching as an announcer live. So yes, Long Island started it. I have been doing real derby since 2006. PJ girls (now retired or members of Philly Roller Girls) retaliated after the fact, conveniently caught by LIRR (who were drinking beer before and during the game)

@bunkertor Uhh, wrong team... it's Penn Jersey with the "most illegal blocking" after Captain Morgan very legally took out the Penn Jersey skater at the beginning of the jam. Either you've mixed your your teams at the :10 mark and miss the very illegal hit from behind, or you don't know derby!
