A song from The Clash who were my favourite band back in the late 70's early 80's. Very apocalyptic though perhaps prophetic as the wheat is growing thin, the oil crisis is causing engines to stop running ans apparently the Sun is zooming in. Oh well, have a nice day.

2.00 to 2.24 narration is probably the funniest thing anyone has EVER written on his own You Tube performance - goes to show that you are obviously not easily embarrased :-) As for the cover of this song, sounds a bit like Clash went to Eaton..or forgot to put on their phoney working class accent :-) I came here via "Will You" to meet the guy responsable for the music there.. will subscribe for the sheer quality of music :-)

oh, Sorry, you're not French. anyway, it's funny. and that song is very good ! there is a French singer who says "I live by the river" in a song. that's why I wanted to listen to the original song !
