Very good, impressive animation tests here! People watching these might enjoy my hand drawn animation videos, BALDER'S EGG, THE MAGIC ARROWS, THE COLOSSEUM, and THE BLACK WIDOW on my channel page on you tube! They have fantasy characters with dialog and narration!

As someone who hopes to study animation at SCAD in the not-so-distant future, I think these are awesome!

What's the program you used for this?

Do u know where can I find the "behind the scenes" of an animation such dragol ball, or ranma, or conan, or pokemon, all that 2d shows, i need to know how is the professional steps to get results, thanks and very cool!!!

They were captured using a camera connected to the computer by firewire, mounted to a tripod over an animation disc with register pegs, using a program called flipbook, which is a simple program designed for easy 2D animation timing. You can capture like this also using Stop Motion pro or Adobe Premiere. To be captured for higher quality looking animation they would need to be SCANNED or captured on a better camera. The animation itself was good old pencil and lightbox, nothing fancy. :)

How did you made this? Do you use a lightbox?

Yea just a lightbox, they were captured into the computer using a shitty overhead camera over register pegs (how you take quick pencil tests to check your animation), when doing these for class they didn't expect them to be too cleaned up or captured nice, it was just about learning to animate. :)

Did u take your animation class at a place called Animation Arts, cause i did and they had us do basically the same projects

SCAD college. :) Most animation classes everywhere do the same basic projects in Animation I...Ball bounce, flour sack, flag wave (not shown), walk cycle, 'tarzan' swing. :) They are standards.
