@GCTVGeurin i own a female eclectus aprrot and though this answer is 1 year late u should  still hear it.

she loves chilli. but 2 times a day they are to be fed fruit like kiwi, apple, orange, grapes, spinach anything but avacado and rhubarb. pomegranite is a firm favourite. their wing should not be clipped so they can get excercise. sunfloer seeds ared very high in fat. so only as treats hope this helped

I just wanted to ask what you feed your eclectus on a daily basis as we will soon be welcoming a baby ekkie into our home. After reading about their special dietary needs i wanted to ask owners how they deal with this. Thanks.

When I was a kid, I had a parrot who eats red small chilli, sunflower seeds, peanuts,... But the main diet is sunflower.

i'm sure the poster knows this. the birds feathers appear to be in great condition. if they were fed only seed their feathers would look like crap.
