67-year-old figure skater in her first competition

She is 67 years old and competed in her first skating competition Sunday. She didn't learn to skate as child, a teenager or even a young adult. This senior citizen proves you can learn to skate, and skate well, at any age. Congratulations B!

@MiaLeonora she's 67 years old. Of course she's going to be slow…I mean not as fast as like a 7 year old. Give the woman credit. She did very well!

Way to go lady! I know how hard this is, I started skating lessons at the age of 54 and I'm now doing Skate UK Level 9 but it's a challenge! It's never too late to learn. I love to skate and I'm on the ice about 4 hours a week. Good luck to this lady, I hope she continues to skate for a very long time.

I think everyone has done the crossover both ways with a pretty thing in the middle on their first competition ahahha.....I did and Skated to the chicken dance...:/

@27alli I see it all the time. I've known many "old people" who skate, both as a life-long venture and as beginners.
