June 24 2010 Bridgeport Connecticut Tornado damage footage path. As you can see this was clearly a tornado. Most likely a strong F1 from the damage I've seen, but possibly a F2. We'll need to wait for the official information.

  • I know this is bad guys, but people from Connecticut are naive to how much damage a tornado can REALLY cause, I mean come on, we get scared hat a $5,000 fence gets knocked over, imagine living in Kansas where that's everyday life. People lose their houses, and then we complain about tress getting knocked over. I know it sucks, but just always remember there are people with it way worse...

  • @AskJeeves17 i agree, i know alot about tornadoes, this is nothing compared to out there where cars end up in between tree's

  • This video now I see the damage but this storm definitely went further then 0.15 miles like they are saying. The distance from Point A to B in the video is probably 2-3 miles. Noticed at point B the tree is completely uprooted, and the metal beam is bent . I doubt straight line wind would do this.

  • @nickvette1 - You are right about the actual distance of that tornado. There is sporatic damage downtown Bpt., the East Side of the Bpt. (E. Main St, etc.), the Hollow section (Kolbe Cathedral), Boston Ave. (Lakeview Cemetary), AND the East End (Stratford Ave, Central Ave, Union Ave, etc.) that is a very wide area that was covered by this tornado. Great footage and narrative!

  • @feistychick70 yes absolutely... the track and damage is consistent with where they have the tornando causing the most damage, i've got some serious damage on the video across in stratford behind the exxonn gas plants on lordship blvd.

  • i live in ct 2 new haven it didnt do much damage when we drove by it only a few building windows and trees, and power lines but not much still veary scary that day

  • Nice footage of the damage... but I have to ask... since when does Bridgeport use "metal beams" as telephone poles? Am I missing something in the section of the video that starts around 3:35? The only thing I see damaged there is a regular wood telephone pole.

  • @TYPODSYKO wtf??

  • @ShortyFatHead wtf? shorty must give fat head!!!

  • @TYPODSYKO wtf??

  • Nice footage.

At 1:50 is that a bullet hole through your front windshield? :-0

  • EAST SIDE NI@$A 4LYF, EAST MAIN ST.

  • The video doesn't show anything, check the news footage, then u will see the damage, thank GOD nobody wuz killed. Remember 100 MPH winds coming out of nowhere from one minute to the next is crazy for anyone, ANYWHERE!!!!

  • Yo, straight up im from Bridgeport, n u gotta understand, $#!@ like this dont happen in the hood, or even cities for that matter, we're talkin bout the BIGGEST city in the lil state, there isnt F&$%#n flatlands or farms like in Kansas? Also talking bout a city with hoods where when i wuz out there, there wuz only 1 way in, 1 way out, and if ur not known, u most likely aren't gettin out! TALL BUILDINGS, not cows n $%!t. Honestly, i think Bridgeport hit 1 MILLION KILL POINTS since establishedlolol

  • @acenerd1211 love how u put it let that ass know how it is
