Some video from the evening of Sunday, 14 June 2009 (after I had gotten back from church, actually). The Puerto Rican Day Parade, one of the largest parades in the world, had taken place earlier in the day.

I think this video does a great job of capturing the colorful nature of my neighborhood, a classic Brooklyn neighborhood.

  • i consider you the luckiest person in the world because u live in NYC..i have only been there once but i plan to live there when i turn 18..buffalo sucks lol

  • I hear you! I also consider myself very lucky. :-)

Anyway, I've been to Buffalo. There's not much going on up there. It seems to have become part of the rust belt what with all the abandoned houses and all.

But you know, if I have the money I might buy some property up there (although I wouldn't move there).

  • Guys: That's my video. And that's 60th street. In NYC there are no official "neighborhoods." The city has official "wards" but, not neighborhoods. The borders of neighborhoods, as such, can change from year to year. Generally, the area between 60th street and 65th street is the border between Gunset and Bay Ridge. When someone is killed, it's Sunset; when something good happens, it's Bay Ridge! LOL

  • yea definitely if you go to the suburbs like Amherst or Orchard Park, the houses are very decent..good for like if u wanna stay during the winter...but you're right don't move up here..i can think of about 50 way better places to live. Buffalo is just about on it's tipping point (un-employment, crimes, a VERY dull place, etc) so yea
