3Z Scale International, LLC is a manufacturer of high quality, 1/3rd scale recreational vehicles. Were owned and operated by Global Power Sports, LLC, and are located in Phoenix, Arizona.

3Z Scale announced its first product, the R/C Rider, a 1/3rd scale, remote-control and drivable monster truck designed for off-road use, at Dealer Expo 2009, an annual show for power sports dealers held in Indianapolis, Indiana. 3Z places substantial emphasis on safety including an industry-first keypad interlock system designed to restrict operation of its R/C Rider to authorized adult drivers.

3Z has entered into exclusive licensing arrangements with key recreational industry companies and will announce these and additional products it has developed for the 1/3rd scale format at the RCX Radio Control Expo in April, 2009.

  • We are beginning dealer deliveries in January, 2010. MSRP is $2,999.

Some of you have commented that the unit does not appear fast enough. We believe you won't be disappointed and, keeping safety in mind, we do not recommend that you modify the unit to make it faster.

  • what's the top speed?

  • what the? 1/3 scale u can ride?! haha crazy. it looked like it was going faster when the guy was on it.

  • It's faster in r/c.

  • Top speed using the rear sprocket that comes with the unit is 30 mph.

  • the handling must not be very good if you are constantly adding and removing 150lbs.

  • The unit comes with two sets of shocks each suited to driver or rc mode.

  • but i dont see them in dealers

  • great idea that i have for years, but way to expencive.

  • thats awsome tht would be cool to get to ride that then rc it thats amazing

  • @Shabbernigdo

there are already some people who bought a 110cc quad and add some rc controls on it, so just spent 500 dollars, and you have the same thing. There are also some dudes who built their own ride-on go karts, that are made from, again, a quad, and they fixed some bodies on it from childrens ride on's toys, so this wont have to cost you 3000 dollars, because that is way to much for this thing. Now its only a matter of time until the chinese built these for 300 dollars.

  • it's cool

  • @Shabbernigdo military drones and such dont count. civilian market only.

  • @momodragon once they hit the market gove people a few months and im sure some one will come out with a motorcycle engine kit for it. 250cc 2 stroke from a dirt bike or somthing.

Just imagine up untill now there has never been a recorded case of some one being killed by an rc vehicle. I bet this one will be the one to break that record lol

  • Thats crazy !

  • its 3000$ it goes 35mph shold not ride if u w more than 150lbs will ware out fast if u r to big

  • can someone tell me were i can get these r/c with real engines
