  • When you say the foam itself is very inexpensive, I'd like to know as compared to what? At $200 bucks plus shipping for the foam itself I could buy several factory made targets for my back yard range and I don't have to build them. With the economy going to hell, there's no way the average Joe could afford to buy even the foam. I'll admit that I have no idea what all goes into making this stuff, but the profit must be phenomenal. I'm in the wrong business.

Not trying to be rude, just honest.

  • @mohunter68 Inexpensive compared to competitors targets of the same size. A field Logic Block of this size costs 700 dollars. This foam is primarily used for clubs and commercial ranges, although some consumers do purchase it for their home use. Simply because it is so cost efficient. An individual using this set up at home, can safely get several years use out of it before res stacking the material instead of four or five 60 dollar targets, then shoot it for several more years.

  • thought this was something cheap wecould make, but its probably the most expensive target i have seen yet!

  • @Vega4381 While the compressor is expensive, and we no longer sell it, the Foam itself is very reasonable, only half or less of similar foam elsewhere.

  • how much does one of these without the casters generally run

  • @AaronWindsor The binder by itself is around 500 dollars, which is way expensive. You can build one yourself with some all thread, two by twelves and some 3/4 inch plywood very easily for a fraction of the cost. Enough foam to build this is around 200 bucks plus shipping

  • You could make a really cheap compressor with 2- 2x6 boards, 2 pieces of all thread, 2 washers and 2 nuts...

  • yeah its ok for a club or shooting range but no use for a practice target for just yourself as it works out too expensive, but for a club it would be good!
