Possession - A Screaming Beauty

I think it's interesting how people are comparing Von Trier's ANTICHRIST to this film.

The lead actresses in both films won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival.

I hope ANTICHRIST is at least as good as this movie. I can definitely see the parallels, but until I get a chance to see Trier's new film, any similarities seem circumstantial at best.

STILL: if a film can draw comparisons to a work as solid as Zulawski's POSSESION, I think that says a lot. Don't you?
