i heard of them and i think they are really good at what they do.

Avail were best when they first started out as a great punk rock band in Reston, VA. I saw them a couple times in Reston, at the I guess now legendary "Jam for Man" shows. Tim Barry used to play drums then, with Brian Stewart on vocals, and the main album was "Reach Out." Tim was fantastic on drums: furious, passionate, great intense music.

that's wild man... I knew about their Reston days but, never new that Tim was the drummer. Then again I discovered them way later. I would love to get my hands on "Reach Out".... lemme know if you can help with that!
